Friends,

Greetings !

Thanks a lot for participating in the 2nd round of the CACIM Forum Fellowship process. It was a pleasure to receive and study such a wide range of proposals in response to the announcement. It was difficult for us to short-list Four Fellows out of an interesting pool of proposals and we hope the selections have done justice to this diversity and objectives of the programme. We would like to also mention that some of the very good applications on the subject have not been included in this round of the Fellowship but we are interested in promoting those studies and are working on ways in which we can accommodate them in our wider programme on the World Social Forum. Thanks again !

CACIM Forum Fellowship Announcement 2008-09

Changes : The 2007-8 Forum Fellowships were offered for a period of three months and provided Fellows with a sum of Rs 40,000. Learning from the experience of the first round, and in particular from the feedback we received from our Fellows, the upcoming 2008-9 Forum Fellowships are offered for a period of six months and will provide Fellows with an enhanced sum of Rs 50,000. CACIM takes care of all travel and staying expenses for attending all the meetings in the Fellowship process.

We would like to invite you to the symposium CACIM is organising on the theme ‘Struggles for Social Justice in India : How relevant is WSF ?’ on August 29 2008 at YWCA, Ashok Road, Delhi 9:30 am onwards where last years Fellows papers will be presented and discussed. Read theme note (external link)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
